Masters FAQ

Q. How long will the draft take?
A. We feel you should plan on taking part in an online draft for 4-7 hours. Due to the nature of the draft and the amount of time between picks, it will be a long day. We will do our best to make that day as enjoyable as possible by providing 1-800 Customer and Technical Support and you will have the ability to chat with a panel of experts that will make themselves available on draft day. Should be a great day of drafting!

Q. When is the draft going to take place?
A. The Fantasy Football Masters Draft will be held on two dates (You select the date that works best for you during the registration process):

Saturday September3rd at 4pm EST.
Tuesday September 6th at 9pm EST.

Q. Because this is online, what happens if my modem crashes?
A. We will have a 1-800 operator available to assist you. Your job will be to immediately contact the help desk and we will send out an immediate notification to the individuals in your league that the draft is on hold. If your connection is not re-set, you will continue to draft via telephone for the duration of the draft.

Q. Is my money safe?...after all $500 is a lot to spend.
A. All money will be held in an escrow account by our attorneys. Emil and Ryan run successful businesses and would not put their reputation on the line for $500. You can ensure your money, as well as the rest of the participants money is accounted for and distributed in a timely manner.

Q. Why is it illegal for folks from Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana to enter the FantasyFootballMasters?
A. Well, actually, we don't think it is illegal for people from those states to enter. But our attorneys advised us to reject any entrant who identifies himself or herself from those states. The reason being that there are some quirky laws on the books in those states that could cause a legal hassle for us down the road. We would rather avoid the hassle altogether.

Q. I want to "overnight" or Fedex my application. Is that ok?
A. Sure. In fact it's a good idea, since you will have a receipt for your package.

Q. Do you accept payments?
A. Yes...we can set you up on a payment plan. We will ensure that your fees are paid in their entirety 30 days prior to draft day. We will also automatically bill you monthly. Keep in mind that if you fail to pay your fees prior to draft day we do charge a $100 handling charge to issue you a refund.

Q. Is your contest affiliated with WCOFF?
A. The only affiliation is that Emil is the co-founder of FantasyFootballMasters.com. We do not have an "affiliation" with them but we do believe they are the best LIVE Fantasy Football Event on the net. FantasyFootballMasters.com will appeal to those individuals that cannot afford to pay for airfare, lodging and other necessities to participate in a live event. However, IF you have the opportunity to participate in WCOFF you will not be disappointed!

Q. Why should I play in your contest?
A. Quite honestly, ANYBODY can start up a website and start a contest. However, can you trust them? If you're going to spend $500 and want to compete in an online league for a chance to win $50,000.00 we are your best option....bar none! We have over 23 years of fantasy sports experience and will do our best to ensure we have the best online contest on the net! After all, our reputation is banking on that fact!
